Carla's Pasta: You Never Knew You Loved It

Carla's Pasta Tex-Mex Tortellini Salad
This was a fun project I did recently for Carla's Pasta.  You might not know the name from the grocery store if you live on the West Coast, but if you order any number of filled pastas or pesto sauces at a restaurant you might very well be eating Carla's Pasta. Cheese Tortellini, Wild Mushroom Sacchettini, Lobster Ravioli and Shells Florentine are among their standards, but they even venture into some wild territory and make items like Cheeseburger Ravioli and Carnitas Half Moons.

The company was founded in 1978 by Carla Squatrito, a short ten years after she came to the U.S. from Italy. What started out as a small store front selling fresh pasta is now one of the largest privately owned pasta manufacturers in the U.S. Today, Carla's sons, Sandro and Sergio, run the business with her, and Carla's pastas are distributed across the country to retail, foodservice and club stores.

They recently needed some promotional material for food shows and I was happy to create some beautiful images for them. Now don't these look good enough to eat?
